This is so long overdue, I suck. XD I had some serious art blockage going on, ridiculously this picture was 95% done for two weeks. x_x It was like... just have to color Dovat's hair and the eyes and put the background on... All of an hour's worth of work. And I couldn't bring myself to do it, or draw anything, period! So, I'm just happy I finally got it done and I think broke the art block so I can get back to finishing lots of stuff I need to do. YAY.

Painter 7, Photoshop for background. I love my swirly brushes, one of these days I'm going to actually put them on dA for others to use.

Dovat and Jenna belong to who is getting two bonuses to make up for my lateness. Stupidly I finished this art and while I was selecting category... dA went down for maintenance. So I decided to go to bed, only I couldn't get to sleep. ARGH. And four hours later it finally came back. Also, dA changed the background color with the new layout. Originally I intended for the piece to look like it was one with dA, you know? But the new background color just doesn't work with the color scheme. DOUBLE ARGH. And, I think because I took so long you can tell areas were colored weeks apart. On the bright side, I did improve Dovat's face from the original. Commissions [link] will reopen in a week or two, give me a chance to finish up Kellion and Gaia stuff. (My next Kellion pic is 80% done and has been 80% done for... two months...) Also, will be revamping my pricing scheme a bit. Not a major hike in cost or anything, just a minor hike and a change in services offered.
