An entry for the Destiny Knights contest on Gaia, this is the lower half of of the cover of book 5. Characters are Cyrus, Destiny, and Duo.
Destiny is actually an archer primarily, but I went with the dagger as it's intended to be the same dagger she used to scar the villain, Weigraff. Ergo, the idea is very much "This dagger took your blood and it's coming to get you again!"
This still isn't the final, but it's the bottom half done! And it looks pretty complete on its own. I'm having a lot of fun with it. It may have a few problems here and there, but I'm under a time crunch and I'm doing my best and working my hardest! I still have other entries to finish.
Photoshop 7. Maybe about 15-20 hours so far? Maybe not that much. It's kind of hard to keep track, I've taken a few breaks here and there, and I've got my laptop open and have been multitasking a bit, too. Definitely not more than 25 hours.
Critique is welcome, but I probably won't be able to do anything about it due to the time/deadline issue. XD So please keep in mind your critique will end up filed under a "good to know for the future!" category.

I guess they're getting the books published now and the contest is partly to commemorate that. I just hope I place well! The top prize is an OMG hat on Gaia, and I really want one of those. X3 But I'll be happy if I win anything.
