About MeCommissionsCharactersEpilogue

We take a break from our art contest stuff (:iconthemanyworlds:) to lament the loss of the greatest webcomic ever, Minus.

[link]

It just... ended. I didn't even notice it ended, I don't always read the comments below the comic. It's finished, done, caput.

Dear Minus, I loved you, and may your adventures continue on forever in the imaginations of your readers. You were the best. The very best.

ALSO. BBC got ahold of all the Top Gear episodes that someone had uploaded to Youtube -- and I mean this person had uploaded the ENTIRE SERIES from the launch of the new format!

Dear BBC,
Until you release NORTH AMERICAN TOP GEAR SEASON BOX SETS, you can STFU and BLOODY WELL FECK OFF you bastards! Want your show to stop being the most pirated on the Internet? RELEASE SOMETHING WE CAN BUY THAT WORKS IN OUR REGION. Seriously! And why don't you find a way to bloody run new episodes stateside while you're at it? Stream them over the Net worldwide for a fee! I don't care! I LOVE TOP GEAR. DOWN WITH VERSIONING. VERSIONING NO LONGER MAKE SENSE IN THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY. WE DEMAND GLOBAL TELEVISION. FAILING THAT, JUST GIVE US TOP GEAR.
P. S. A shoddy American copy of the original series just doesn't cut it. Top Gear is what it is because of Clarkson, May, and Hammond.

They can't show it for free. There are a lot of people on that show with homes to pay for and families to feed

I'm not suggesting they do. I'm suggesting they bloody well give us a way to pay them to watch it. I mean, geez, the Internet is hungry for Top Gear, we've proven that. How much easier would it be to pay the BBC, say, $5 a show in order to watch online instead of pirating it? It would feed MORE families of the production if they'd let us pay for the bloody show somehow!

:juggle: Oh hello! I see you've noticed my signature... What a crazy random happenstance! While you're here, would you like to check out my gallery? [link] I do commissions, so if you see anything you like, send me a note!

The show would still be pirated though

But a lot of people would rather just pay a bit of money than waste hours playing pirate. Well, those of us who have jobs and aren't teenagers, anyway. If they made it available, people would buy it. As things stand, it's just not available, and I'm saying if they ought to make it legally available to people because regional licensing is just utterly ridiculous and I feel it's killnig our industry and needlessly encouraging pirating.
